Huawei makes the world's first smartphone with a curved folding screen and a periscope camera

Huawei is the undisputed leader in the camera phone market; its smartphones always occupy leading positions in the DxOMark ranking and receive numerous awards for innovation in the field of cameras. In addition, Huawei was one of the first to release a smartphone with a folding screen. Now, the Chinese giant is making a unique bending smartphone, which is equipped with a periscope camera. The information was confirmed by the Chinese regulator, which published a patented image of the device.

The patent application was filed at the end of last year, but only now has it been approved. If you believe the images, the device will receive one huge screen, which is curved on an ongoing basis on one side of the case to go to the back panel, and can also bend in the usual place when the phone is folded. That is, the display is curved as well as bending 

The new smartphone will fold most of the screen inward, in this regard it will be more similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold than the Huawei Mate Xs. The smartphone is equipped with a single camera unit, which goes four image sensors. The lower chamber, judging by the shape of the hole, is periscopic.

This camera can also be used to create a selfie, since a portion of the display is located next to the camera.
