Samsung released a smartphone with 1 GB of RAM, a removable battery
Samsung has two main non-flagship line of smartphones: Galaxy A and Galaxy M. The second is not represented everywhere, but still quite widely.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy J line is still alive, although it has just survived in a small number of markets, and in general has been reduced to one or two models. But today, this lineup was supplemented by a new product - Galaxy J2 Core 2020.
The device debuted in India at a price of only 83 dollars, and it offers for this money, of course, a little. Moreover, in fact, we are faced with the same Galaxy J2 Core model of 2018 with only double the amount of flash memory.
It still has the same five-inch screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, all the same 1 GB of RAM and the same old SoC Exynos 7570. The smartphone also has 16 GB of flash memory, cameras with a resolution of 5 and 8 megapixels and a removable battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh . Even worse, the operating system has not changed either - Android 8 Go edition is used here.
Of course, it is very strange to see such a smartphone in 2020 - it seems that nobody needs such devices. However, last year the Galaxy J2 Core took tenth place in the list of best-selling smartphones in the world, so it only seems.
