Vivo's two new models (model code V1962A and V1962BA) have been certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is reported that this is the version of vivo S6 5G that will be released on March 31.
V1962A and V1962BA have the same specifications and similar design, but the back of the latter is written with "G1", which we can't see on the official S6 5G image shared by vivo.
The two phones are built around a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and have an in-display fingerprint reader. The display also has a water drop for a 32MP selfie camera.
Previously leaked images indicate that the vivo S6 5G will be equipped with a punched display and two front-facing cameras. The image is either fake or another phone.
Vivo has confirmed that the S6 5G will be equipped with a quad camera with a 48MP host on the back. Now we know that the main camera will be connected by an 8MP and two 2MP modules. The 8MP module may be an ultra-wide camera, while the 2MP module may be a macro and depth sensor.
The V1962A and V1962BA have a 2.2GHz octa-core processor and run Android 10. It is very likely that Funtouch OS 10 will be on top. These devices will have two memory options-6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 256GB.
The V1962A and V1962BA will pack 4390 mAh batteries, possibly charging through a USB-C port.
